Good location.Beds unconfortable. The most negative point was breakfast:food and juices finished and were not replaced.

Good hotel, good position, in the middle between the European offices area and the city center. Tube just in front the hotel (Porte de Namur). Nice breakfast and nice shower.

The hotel was very satisfying, the room was clean and spacious with a wonderful view!The hotel was also close to the city center(10-15 min walking to go to Grand Place)and the breakfast was really marvellous!Moreover the staff was very kind and helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel for a nice, cheap and decent trip!Hotel Chambord etait foridable!

I stayed in this hotel 3 years ago and liked it very much. Hence, when given the opportunity to stay again in the Chambord Hotel I didn't hesitate! After my second stay, I seriously doubt staying there again! I arrived at the hotel around 3pm and was given the key to my room, when I got in the room, I noticed that the cleaning has not been done, the bed was still unmade from the previous customer, likewise for the bathroom, etc. I called the reception and the clerk told me to leave my stuff there and go for a walk and the room will be done on my return. Going for a walk was the last thing I wanted to do as I have been travelling for almost 10 hrous and needed a bit of rest! After a bit of waiting and insisting on having my room done, the cleaning lady came about 30min after and started cleaning the room! Other than that the room is rather spacious as well as the bathroom, and quite confortable but everything needs quite a lot of refreshing, there were mold in the bathroom! The breakfast buffet is good and there is quite a variety to choose from. Overall, my stay was ok but for the same price range, I have had better service and room in Brussels!

After reading some comments about this hotel I was a little bit scared, but I left all my expectation behind. Luckilly I had a pleasent surprice. The hotel location is really good, just few steps from the metro station. The receptionist was kind and helpful. We got our room, inspite I asked twin bed, we got double bed, but we didn't care as we are good friends for 30 years already :) The room was really small but really clean. Seems to be jsut refurbished. Bathroom was also clean and with liquid soap and, hair drier. However we just spent two nights there, the make up our room and changed towels. Our window opened to an ugly and dirty small yard with a noisy airconditioner. We had a flat LCD TV but without any English-speaking channel. (CNN or BBC would be great to a tourist hotel) The breakfast was quite good, scrambelled eggs with bacon, chesse, cold cuts, cereal and juices. Overeall we got the value for our money.
