Louise Hotel, Brussels

Location: 5 metro stops from the Central railway station(with a change of train after the two first stops) - not so close to the center by walking and not so far either since the metro is very convenient from Louise stop - but the general area (Louise quarter and Ixelles)is very nice,safe and quiet. Room:spacious and clean with small,old and not so clean bathroom. Keep in mind that in the most of the building there is not an elevator serving your exact floor, which means that as soon as you get out of the elevator you may have to climb a few (enough) stairs to reach to your room! Not to forget that the walls are very thin (we were able to listen to the person next to our room snowring at night!) Breakfast:Not so big variety(For example only one kind of bread, one kind of cheese and ham,two kinds of tea,one kind of juice and no fresh yoghurt).Not so clean also(I saw dirty forks and knives,very old cups and broken plates and not just for once). Stuff and reception desk: Very polite and helpful on anything we asked for. General opinion:value for money regarding that finding a hotel in Brussels is not a cheap story!!!

Good location, breakfast and room

Good location on Avenue Louise, not far from Metro.Cottage rooms are very small so I would advise on the other rooms.Hotel a little dated but clean. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast is nice too and the price with Yeego was really good.

Good location, nice setting, thorough service at breakfast room. Bedroom was however very cold even despite heating, not to speak about the bathroom.

Good 3star hotel with heavy breakfast.

Good location, close to restaurants and shops. However, the room was certainly not renovated in 2008 and the bathroom was tiny. The free WLAN didn't work at all during our stay. For these reasons, we would not stay there again.

Extremely good value for money!Big comfortable rooms & showers,very clean & nice breakfast.The only thing is that the hotel rooms are distributed on several split levels & there are no elevators to these levels so you have to carry luggage up and down the stairs. But considering the price, it is a fantastic deal indeed!

Hotel is quiet and clean and has a very good breakfast.It is an old hotel but has been redecorated to meet modern needs.It is in a very nice area of Brussels & buses and METRO are close by.

Rooms great value. Diplomatic 3 person wass real luxury - for the kids. Breakfast excellent value, if busy. Very convenient for restaurants and shopping and the metro/tram. Would stay there again.

Walls and floor in bedroom needed some repair work. Bathroom supplies very limited, not enough soap. Very noisy street front kept me awake most of the night. Website of hotel did not live up to the reality of it. Looked different in actuality. Receptionists were very polite and helpful however and made me feel welcome, especially since this was my first trip to Europe.

The Hotel is situated in a very good area. 5 min walk to the tram station; the nearest one is "Faider" stop. The rooms are very clean and the bathroom is large enough. However, I thought the breakfast was a bit inadequate but the what's offered was quite nice. Definitely the best choise for this price.

Very nice hotel, helpful staff, five tram stations from main attractions but bathroom was a bit too small and address is hard to find in your first arrival. make sure to find it on the map before getting into the city. Go t Louis metro station and it is two tram station or 10 min walking from that station.

situated near the old palace, polite and helpful staff, acceptable breakfast.overall I t was good for the price(around 40 euros for a night). the only drawback was the small bathroom with old facilities which could have been better and cleaner.

Quiet, good location and a nice breakfast buffet. But I had a single bed although the receptionnist has told me over the phone that all beds were 1,60m! Some of the rooms (including mine) aren't at the same floor where the elevator stops meaning that you have to climb few stairs carrying your luggages on your own to reach your room (no help from the receptionnist at all although I was pregnant!). Last but not least, I found 2 human hairs inside the shower.....

Staff incredibly welcoming and kind, good position, nice room, good breakfast with fresh fruits and hot croissants... Surely a positive choice in Bruxelles!

The hotel is a Liberty style building very central and close to Louise avenue, with a warm atmosphere and a very kind staff. My room was big and extremely quiet, the breakfast room overlooking the garden and with good choice of croissants and mignon pastries, juice, fruits and other. Wireless internet connection a bit slow but for free and available in the entire building. Highly recommended.
